Kaleidoscopic trips: "Smoke & Mirrors"

This week's kaleidoscope features some wispy copper tubing that emerge from a marble base, supporting the main barrel that houses the mirror system. It is stainless steel, and etched with a smoke-like design. The various interchangable wheels are cast glass, and can be stacked on the rod for some visual combinations. All supported on a black marble base.

I'm not really sure how I ended up with this idea in the first place. I think this was one of those projects that just kind of emerged from the concept of things spinning and twisting. Let's go with that. Sometimes strange things come together unexpectedly and surprise me!
