Hamilton Art Crawl Crazies.

150,000 people coursing through our gallery, and the others, on James St. N. between yesterday and today. It's a zoo of curious tourists hitting the hottest art market in the country for this weekend. This strip of the city has a line up of galleries over a space of a few blocks, which gets shut down once a month to motorized vehicles specifically for the Art Crawl of the month. But September is different: it's the Super Crawl. This one gets more attention than the other Art Crawls of the year. Bands are scheduled to play in certain designated areas. There is all kinds of interesting food available, theatrical expressions, curious street installations, and the list goes on. It's rather mad around here with unexpected and wonderful appreciation of creativity.

The current show in our gallery (Flagship Gallery) is called Behind the Mask. It is a group show of all our collaborative members, including some offerings from the previous month's kids show which also involved faces. The top featured image is a drawing from the kids show. Eventually my inner introvert will curl up in the fetal position and want some quiet. But right now this is worth enjoying!
