You may already have seen that @shayne did a portrait for me. It only cost me a few dollars in Steem so I'm more than happy to have it. I let him choose the colours, and wasn't 100% happy with what he used. I've just done a quick re-touch using some simple tools.
Shayne based his work on a picture taken of me about 10 years ago. I'm actually a little greyer now, but still got my hair.
He's also given me the line art that I could play with. Great service for very little money. Good to see he's getting a few more commissions and building up some Steem. This is part of the growing Steemit economy. If we use Steem to pay for goods and services we can spread it around and make it more valuable. There are even actual physical locations where you can spend it. I'm keeping some Steem Dollars available in case I have the opportunity to spend it.
Don't just hoard your Steem. Spread it around.

I didn't give him 5 Steem. 5 dollars is nearer 40 steem now. You can pay people in steem dollars to be pretty sure the value won't change much
5 steem is around 70 to 75 cents i guess ! ? I just wanted to be sure if i donated 5 steem to someone thats what it was ! Lol ! I know its really not worth much , its more for the gesture and plus its worth alot more then what i can upvote for ! Thanks , and keep up the good work ! 😉👍

I only do it with my Karens Angel Wings initiative , if my post makes some good money and i get a good comment then i will give a wing to them ! Im just trying it out right now and hopefully it will it will also build my followers up! If it doesnt work out to good I will reintrduce it later ! noticed your avatar during the Discord chat yesterday. Pretty cool! (and thanks for accepting my friend request there...even though I may only show up on Saturday for the STP chat) I'll have to check out @shayne and see if I can find a decent picture for him to toon. It could be fun to use on Twitter or something. :)
