I was going for a woolly rhino type drawing to brush up on some of my creatures for the Steemit Adventure story. Was a little inspired by the art and animals @gotmeens draws, thats probably where the blue tones come from as well. I showed someone this before posting and they said it looks super sad lol I wasnt going for that but after they said that it does appear pretty sad looking. So I guess I made a sad woolly rhino, I think he is walking through the frozen tundra thinking "why you no upvote?" :)

He actually rly does look sad....makes u wanna take him inside, dry him of and cuddle him to death!
poor lil guy looks so sad :(
In my opinion he looks more tired than sad ;) nonetheless it look amazing
If i had a horn that big i would be sad to... poor guy must have neck pains all year long
Great drawing though my drawing are mainly stickmans
Your comment made my neck sore lol cause after you said that I was thinking gosh you are right.
I would also be sad if my horn is 40% of my full weight. :p
You may not be if female woolly rhinos dig it!
So, I really like the blizzardy depth effect with the snow... really draws me "in" to the scene.
Yes, he looks sad. I hope he gets a million upvotes to cheer him up. :(
Thanks! and he is smiling now. Also thanks for commenting because it reminded me to check yoru blog and your RPG thingies lol were really cool.
Thank you so much for going and checking my blog! Now IM smiling too! :D
Don't be sad wooly rhino here is my tiny upvote, you can have it, don't cry :( I can't wait to have enough steam power to use my vote with a regulator but alas, I am but a minnow, maybe even more of a minnow hatchling? Maybe we Steemians who are minnows but haven't earned our 'slider reward' bar should be called fry, that is what they call freshly hatched fish I believe.
Anyhoo, after all that ,I love this guy! The texture of his wool, the layered circles of snow. I like a lot of brushwork so am really loving it. Well done you!
Thank you for taking the time to view and comment! the feedback really helps me see things through someone elses eyes.
Someone cheer up that rhino!
Ha! he is smiling now because he got some upvotes :) appreciate the comment!

no no no you are creative ,,, He actually shows sad , What program do you use?
I'm digging this piece. I forget, you digitize everything with illustrator, right?
He looks a bit sad and a bit tough. It's a good pic too.
Cool drawling. I've always been jealous of people that can drawl. I don't have a artist bone in my body but that doesn't stop me from loving it though
This is a nice change to your usual pencils. The rhino’s expression kind of matches my own right now! XD
You're so nice for commenting on this post. For that, I gave you a vote! I just ask for a Follow in return!
How on earth did sad woolly rhino think he would get no upvote XD Guess droopy jowls and heavy lids would give one a sad appearance even though he may actually be jumping for joy on the inside because he likes playing in the snow. Jeez that's an impressive horn :O
I don't know what to tell you, it's just awesome work!
I want to hug him
beautiful drawing congratulations, I also think it looks like a sad rhinoceros but it is a beautiful rhino :)
I wonder what makes it so sad? The rain or this big and heavy horn?
The way you draw snowfall is so cool - I suppose it's some brush that puts down random dots as you move it? Basically a neat tutorial on how to make it snow without too much fuss
