Some days ago I sent the last version of my short comics to the publishing house to know if all the pages (a total of 8 pages) was ok and this morning I received a good news: Andrea, the owner of the publishing house, wrote me that he likes so much what I made!
I feel myself really happy, because I had more doubts about this work and I was not sure it was ok. As you know, it's my first time in the comic art and it's a field of art really different from my usual. I had to work on the story board, to study how to move my characters (my rounded-head characters were born from the waist up and on canvas), how to compose the pages with a lot of different panels using photoshop. It was not soimple for me and, sure, I was full of anxiety about the result. Fortunately everything is going well and I learned a lot working on this project, I can say it was and it is a nice experience!
Now I can show you the pages I made. Sorry, the texts are in italian language, but the story that I'm telling is the following:
Angelika Kauffmann and Mary Moser was 2 women artists and the only women co-founders of the Royal Academy of Art in London in the 1768-71. At that time, the women couldn't attend to the Academy's meeting where all the (other) founders decided about the Academy, but the history (and the painting The Royal Academy of Arts, 1771–2 by Johann Zoffany) tell us that Angelika and Mary had the ability to influence the decisions, helping also the progression of equality between male and female artists.
Now we can say that, thanks to their role of women co-founders, Angelika and Mary were remembered more than the other men founders ^_^
You can read more about their role in the question here.
These are the pages I made to tell the story:
I hope you like it!

It was not simple, but I'm satisfied by the many things I learned working on it ^_^
Your drawings are absolutely enchanting Silvia. Absolutely unique and so much more to them than the cute and cupid faces. So much character and I also love the muted colours and painterly quality they have. !tip ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
