Kala Ghoda art festival part 3

in #art7 years ago

Hello everyone, I'm back with the last part of Kala Ghoda art festival 2018, sorry to keep you guys waiting for so long, I've been busy these days doing my college projects, also if possible I'll share one of my projects here. But now let's get back to art festival

So as you know much about this festival now, if not you can always check here

Now moving to pictures and the day, I'd say the "Go Green" theme was set up because of Mumbai's rising pollution these days, the air in Mumbai has become worse than the capital of India New Delhi. Thereby the Ghoda is represented in Green colour (Hara Ghoda).

Godavari: A make in India legacy

Ins Godavari is named for the Godavari river in India. The ship is inborn in India, made by Mazagaon Dock in Mumbai, first warship ever created by India after the Indo-Pak war. It is also said that the ship has a great history for participating in numerous operations such as 'Operation cactus' & 'Operation Jupiter'. INS Godavari played a splendid role in the great wars and was decommissioned on 23rd December 2015

I'd say these are handmade, crafted from small cloth with beautiful designs of the Sun God. "The many-faced Gods"

It's made from wire tapes. Indicates that we are a puppet in nature.

There's nothing much to describe the pictures because, in a similar way, all art shows us about the theme 'Go Green'.

This is what I call 'Jugad' meaning 'low costing way'. It's made from plastic bottles.

Look here you can see that this lady represents our mother earth & so many insulin bottles are attached to her.
