DIY - Repurpose Wine Bottle

in #art7 years ago (edited)

Hello lovely Steemians:

Do you have lots of wine bottles hanging around your house?

Aside from selling it to scrap, it is a good way to recycle it or make a DIY home vase.

To remove the label from the wine. Put in a very hot or freshly boiled water in the sink, add 1/2 cup bicarb soda, 1/2 cup vinegar and a tbspn. Of dish soap.

(It will fizzle a bit when you add all the potion due to the properties of vinegar and bicarb soda). Leave it for 20 minutes.

And it supposed to look like this

Materials to use

  • glitters
  • paste
  • glitter tape
  • bottle (off label)

Procedures

  1. Put glitter tape at the neck of the bottle for around 2 - 3 inches

  2. Put paste randomly at the bottle, (it could be any shape you want, mine is dot like)

  3. Put in glitters at the paste

  4. Leave it to dry

  5. And Tararan... Voila, you got a DIY home decor vase.
