This is a painting I have been working on for a little while, it's still not done, but it's getting closer!! It's oil on mdf panel, 8x11 inches. I have been trying to work on panel more, and avoid canvas.
I was thinking of doing something with the aurora borealis through the sky... I don't know, what do you guys think? The concept is centered around being stuck and searching inspiration, trying to maintain aspirations. Does this come across?

Love it! I think the aurora borealis would look awesome, especially further away in the background sky. I've also been moving away from using canvas, I really love working on panels!

How's mdf vs canvas? Looks like it's going well. Your contrast is incredible. Bravo
im really enjoying mdf, its a lot smoother than canvas, and you dont have to worry about stretching and warping as much... the only drawback is that you cant roll it for shipping or traveling, and if it does get wet and warp, you cant fix it so easily. thanks again for the comment! i was starting to feel like everything was run by bots on here...
