@yoganarchista has started a brilliant new art contest in which she invites participants to make artwork based on their body. We start at the feet, and then week by week we'll make our way up to the head.
I intend to participate every week. This week's subject is feet.
I won't be marking "art", per se. My pieces should be treated more as "studies". I'm using this contest as an opportunity to refine my skills and practice drawing the human form.

As you can tell, it's just a sketch... not a work of art. I just took a sock off, put my feet up on the coffee table and drew what I saw. The practice is certainly worthwhile!

One observes more of his own feet :) a beautiful drawing.
I like this contest because it will challenge me to really focus on shapes that I'm not used to drawing, especially on my own body.
