Hi steemers! I'm Salman,
Today I'm going to share with you people some pictures and little bit knowing of those places of my travel from last summer.
As I mentioned in my introductive post
I've craze for travelling.
I used to say that if travelling is free you would never see me again .
Last summer, I and my friends settled a plan to visit some famous places of Lahore. Lahore is the capital of province Punjab, the second most populous city of Pakistan which is located in the north eastern belt of Pakistan. Lahore is the one of the historical city of Pakistan so, I and my friends decided to visit those historical places of Lahore. It is among the Pakistan's most generous and multicultural cities.
On 10th of August we sat out for Lahore, we travelled by bus and reached at Lahore nearly 4 p.m. the nearest point from the bus terminal was Data-Darbr so we went there at first. Actually Data Darbar is the largest sufi shrine of South Asia. It was built to the house of Muslim spiritual Data Abu Al Hujwiri , who is commonly known as Data Ganjh Baksh. It is believed that he lived in site during 11th century CE, which is considered most blessed place in Lahore and that attracts more than millions of people in annual Ur’s of Data Abu Al Hujwiri. It has four Minaret and One dome.
We had lunch there on hotel that was nearby the Shrine . we offered Asar Salah there and visited whole shrine.
Here at the back of me, the grave of great Muslim spiritual Sufi and Saint Data Abu Al Hujwiri. Sufi did a great job for the well-being of Muslim Umaah to take them back to the correct line of their creed.
The main hall of shrine where Muslims use to offer Salah five times a day. It has vast capacity for people to say their prayers at once, and also offer pious things like tasbeeh, traveeh and reading of Quran.
Here I am standing at backyard of Badhshahi Mosque , at my back its a most craving food street of Lahore. it presents an enchanted view of building and the prodigious art work of artist of ancient times, the colour combination attracts every person at first glance even to those who just pass by.
Here's closet view of the great art that is eye catching for all the visitors of food street..!
The only way to enter into Badshahi Mosque is through the Hazuri Bagh. The tomb of Pakistan’s National poet Sir Muhammad Iqbal comes at the entrance of main Gate. He is commonly known as spiritual Father of Pakistani Nation. He is widely known as Allama Iqbal. He was a great philosopher, politician as well as an academic, barrister and scholar.
Main gate of mosque to enter inside the mosque. The mosque is located on the west of Lahore fort .
That’s the courtyard of Badhshahi Mosque , the main building has one biggest and two small tombs along with 4 minarets of height 176’ 5’’ that is 53.75m in meters .The picture presents a complete view of main building of Mosque. It’s the second largest Mosque in the Pakistan that was built by Emperor Aurangzeb lasting for 2 years until 1673. It has capacity for 5600 people.
"I hope u enjoyed these clicks and also the way I gave the overview of these historical places, if u have any related query u can freely ask from me."
