In artist view vagina is a symbol of the beginning of new life, that is why it is not a surprise that inspired by that symbol, creative people tend to make vagina-like installations, sculptures and paintings. Interesting, did their models know how many people see their vaginas?

So, my number one favourite to be found in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located in Modern Museet and is a piece of art of Niki de Saint Phalle, Jean Tinguely and Per Olov Ultvedt. Installation is called "Hon" that means "She" in English.

This artwork by Gustave Courbet’s, called "The Origin of the World" has been quite popular on the internet recently. The reason for that is censorship.
This "Great Wall of vagina" is quite new, created in 2014 by Jamie McCartney. This work is unique, because on this sculpture are displayed vaginas of exactly 400 women at the age from 18 until 76. Jamie with his project wanted to show that all the women are unique "there".

This one is very fresh- created in 2017 by Suzy Kellems Dominik. It is named " I can feel". This you can find in Miami- during Art Basel installation has been the most popular- everyone took a picture with this piece of art. Citating Suzy : “I wanted a work that was visually welcoming and I really restricted myself to the palette like one would see at the inside of a conch shell, like one would see if you opened your labia.”
This is one more proof that you can find inspiration anywhere, just keep your eyes open! And don't be afraid or ashamed to talk or make things that are regarded as "inconvenient", especially when this is all about art. Stay inspired and motivated! But I wish you a good night and sweet dreams!
Sincerely yours,

You always find some topics to blog on! :D
Quite interesting, must admit. :)
Quite controversial I would say, I try to make experiments in order to understand what is the key to people's heart!
