Graphite pencil, watercolor and oil on reverse side of glass. This is one of my more recent paintings in my special hinterglas technique
At 12" x 7" its a relatively small painting.
And together with the handmade frame a real cutie ;-)
The frame has moving doors, although they don't have a real function, but you can see them in action in this video:

Here is another video, with a frame with just one door:
The subtle shadows are just perfection.
I should look at your hinterglass technique posts, its really a fascinating medium.
I was a hard and long way to get to this point. Lots of testing and experimenting... yes, finally it is fascinating, even to me ;-)

Thank you very much, love yours too!
Great piece! So refreshing to see such a distinct style language.
Many thanks for this comment from a skilled artist like yourself :-)
Haha! So welcome!
Very nice Reinhard....what a sweet little lady :-)
Thank you Dennis :-)
Is that a finger in her hair bow? This work gives me a portentous feeling. I'll come back later and give a second look. Deep breath here.
No fingers... since its a "machine", there are only mechanical parts...
So lovely! Also, I like your signature and profile background. Great job!
Thank you :-)
