Hi guys i'm proud to introduce to you the Magnificent Kailash Termple of Maharashtra,India which was carved out of a SINGLE ROCK! You guys will be astonished with its Mind Boggling Architecture. Let me get through you guys there.
Let’s get to why you should breathe in a little bit of history and pay a visit to the Kailasa temple or the Kailasanatha temple in the Ellora- one of the most famous and marvelous temples of Maharashtra. It is a great temple built with an unknown technology. So much so, there is a whole school of conspiracy theorists that seek to prove that it is impossible for humans to have created such a structure and only artificial intelligence or aliens could have made it!
One of India’s greatest monuments, this astonishing temple, carved from solid rock, was built by King Krishna I in AD 760 to represent Mt Kailasa (Kailash), Shiva’s Himalayan abode. To say that the assignment was daring would be an understatement. Three huge trenches were bored into the sheer cliff face, a process that entailed removing 200,000 tonnes(NO DEBRIS AT ALL) of rock by hammer and chisel, before the temple could begin to take shape and its remarkable sculptural decoration could be added.
So many of these structures worldwide have been re-worked throughout history. Just compare the discussions about the sphinx in Egypt. Its pharaoh head seems too small for its body. Some people think that the sphinx was built long before the pharaohs lived and that the head was just re-carved later.
But, whoever built these fascinating caves thousands of years ago surely had more than just ordinary hammers, chisels, and picks, like many ancient cultures around the globe who erected some of the most complex and extraordinary structures in the history of civilization, that still cause sensation among archaeologists who are unable to explain how such structures were built at all. Even with our current technology it will take about 100 years to build such monument.
Take a look at these fascinating images of this Temple and judge for yourself if ancient cultures had more than ordinary hammers, chisels, and picks thousands of years ago. Hope you guys enjoyed this :)) More to come!
