Hello guys
Once again, I'm back. So, recently I've been seeing a lot of Ai "commercials". Some of them are funny, and some are just plain ridiculous. Like out of a fever dream or something. But I've been wondering, how the heck are some of these people making this footage? Well I've been doing some research, and all of my searching lead to a program called Runway Gen 1. It is indeed a very powerful tool to use, especially for content creators. So I told myself, maybe I should try and make my own A.i. video. This was the process.
Runway Gen 1 is basically a video to video program. For an example, you can take a video of someone eating something, feed it into the A.i. program, and tell it to make a video about clouds. I know (lol), that's probably the most backwards thing I've ever said, but it can do that. As you can see the image above, I told it to have a women eating pizza instead of a man, which is pretty impressive but it's not perfect. I can imagine though, that the technology will get better sometime later in the future.
After that, I gather all of my footage for an A.i. "commercial". I went to a website called 11ElevenLabs. Now this text to speech technology has been around for a while now. However, since A.i. was introduced, it has gotten significantly better. So I ask ChatGPT to write me a script for a pizza commercial, and it did just that in mere seconds. I then put that script into 11ElevenLabs and downloaded the voice for my video.
Lastly, I took all of my footage, sound, and the A.i. voice and worked on it in Adobe Premiere Pro. I also worked on it in After effects for a little bit too. I was laughing hysterically on how absurd the video was (lmao!!!) 😂 I don't think I made something so ridiculous before. The whole process of this project, took me about 8 hours to complete. So, with that being said, here's how this monstrosity turned out (lol).

I actually had a lot of fun making this video. I don't know, A.i. has been pretty controversial lately, especially on the art side of it. Honestly though, I think it could help a lot of people but, at the same time the technology is quite scary, so will just have to wait and see how everything turns out.

I kinda want to make more lol but I want to utilize it in a more creative way. The tech is just too powerful to use it one way. It's always nice to see you stop by man.
I'd like to see a commercial of a tacky used car salesman walking the car lot and yelling about discounts, but instead of cars, it's cats. Used cat salesman.
