Yeah, see a lot of people think that in order to have a good piece of art it has to be of high artistic ability, but that really has nothing to do with it.. I always looked at art as if it connects to a person then it works.
More complexity doesn't equal better art .
I love your post though and agree with just about everything. One thing I try to tell people to stay away from are those lazy "easy" color books now for kids..where they just give you markers and it auto colors the book for them.. to me it seems to take away a kids creativity and may give them a false impression that they are more skilled than what they are and it teaches them to actually not build any skills or express themselves.
I agree with you.
In a work of art done by children, the role of parents as an encouragement is also very determining the creativity of children. There the role of parents in guiding children and motivate their children more spirit.
Yeap!
Years ago I went to a class...forgot the guys name, must of been like 10 years ago now, but he would take kids drawings and recreate them again and the kids would love it..I think in my opinion it would show them that the drawings they made weren't stupid or ugly looking due to seeing an adult make them into paintings for them.. I think it gives them the ability to realize that they will have the ability to create cool stuff like he did the better they get at it.
I hate to sound like an old get off my lawn guy but I think the electronics are so out of control these days that the basic stuff you've been saying probably isn't nearly as popular as it should be..especially with both parents working nowadays and being tired.
