Hey, I really enjoy the deep rich colors, nice work! Personally when I paint sometimes I will just pick a few colors that fit my mood and start smooshing paint onto the canvas until I can see something in the paint. Then I define that thing that I see, it could be a tree or a river, stream, mountain or whatever!
