Hi Guys,
at first, please bear with me since my english is still a work in progress :D) my Name is Michaela and I recently received my diploma in animation and design at the Filmacademy in Germany. Since I love drawing and painting and it has been interesting me all these years, I always experienced phases doing "nothing" because of the so called "art block".
This can be really frustrating and I want to do an experiment with at least doing something for 10 weeks, even if I do not feel like it!
I would be so happy to use steemit as a part of my journey on having an online sketchbook, to feel my transformations and being able to work on my weaknesses and empower my strength. Also I like to connect with people, I am trying to twitch as often as I can beneath work and I am very grateful for everyone who I can entertain :)
It would be great to encourage people - and through people, to do at least something every (other) day!

Art block is something that happens to all of us. This kind of things are always motivation and help to boost the creativity! I'm looking foward to keep this iniciative with you :)

Try not to get discouraged if you have some days where earnings are seemingly nonexistent. Keep at it and it'll be great.
aaah, actually I just like the idea! And I think its also a nice way to support people! I think consisency is key and I am trying to practise that :D. I think it could also be a good excersice because it should not ( in the best case) be depending on mood or "fame". Although I can't deny its a tool to get motivated :P

I program (a lil, my son is the real coder) and do game design.
I love looking at peoples art on Steemit. I can't wait to see yours. I don't know if I've had "artist block" because I mostly am not doing art BUT I do get bouts of inspiration once in a while and I paint or make a clay model.

Hey @solarguy! Read your artivle this morning before getting out of bed! Really nice! :) Thank you for welcoming me! I think artists block is just a synonym for being "uninspired" or too perfectionistic. Like, I have the thesis if you stop to care about the outcome and fancy more about the process of doing something, you will be a lot more productive and so can build up confidence to avoid phases where you do nothing (But feel guilty about it.)! Well, we'll see :P
