Lachlan Watson portrait

in #art5 years ago

Hello! It's way too hot to do anything lately (and still, some people don't believe global warming is a thing), I'm done with school and I'm not as busy anymore, so yesterday I drew this portrait of Lachlan Watson, an actor and activist I really like, I know them from Netflix's "The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina". I used a post on their instagram as a reference, I really like how it came out, I hope you all like it too!

Ciao! The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina". Ho usato un post dal suo instagram come riferimento, mi piace molto come è venuto, spero che piaccia anche a voi!

Gosh you drew Lachlan so wonderfully! There's a lot of unique style to Lachlan and you faithfully captured it with your drawing, the pose, the look, and the colours are all so gorgeously painted :D I love the step by step presentation, also, @paintingjae !!!

A very lovely picture ! WELL DONE \o/

Congratulations for Curie, also :) Hopefully it will be first of many :D

thank you!!

The only people I look with little jealousy are those who could perform Magic with their hands, one of the reason is that however others try or attend any Coaching it is next to impossible to compete with inborn natural telents and artists.

It seems you are one in the very same category after seeing the step by step stages of creating an art like this: Good to see some original creativity in steemit. I have one query though, It seems it was better if you might posted the photos in the reverse order.
Cheers...

What a lovely step-by-step presentation. I like that you used the drawings backwards, it makes it more interesting. Congratulations, your painting is wonderful.

Great portrait. I did not about this actor (?). I have learned there are non-binary people now.
I think your portrait captures that duality or gender fluidity.
I think, though that they (?) projects a more femenine image, even if they would rather not be identified as either male or female.
I guess it is going to take us some time to get rid of the fixated notions of gender, especially in art.
