Welcome to HIVE. This is a social media platform built around a cryptocurrency called HIVE.

The blockchain and crypto make HIVE different from other platform. The site HiveBlocks.com shows all of your transactions on the blockchain. This is the page for your account.

https://hiveblocks.com/@otakshu

Notice the resource bar. This shows the current resources of your account. New accounts have limited resources. Your account was delegated just 3 HP. this gives you the resources to write 5 posts over five days. A reply to a comment costs the same as a post.

You put up two posts close to each other. These posts actually compete with each other and reduce your potential.

People are paid for their posts on HIVE. The platform has had huge problems with plagiarized content. When posting really high quality images, the post needs to have a paragraph or two telling us when you created the pictures. If you have used the images on other sites, then the post should have links to the other sources.

This is a great image. People who see it will assume it was simply copied and pasted from another source and not upvote the image.

A good way to start a HIVE account is to write a post with the tag #introduceyourself . This post should tell us about yourself and your interests.

Good luck. You only have resources for 5 posts in your first five days. It is likely that you run out of resources as you explore the network.

Not sure why this hasn’t got more upvotes, but thanks for posting this.

Hey @otakshu, welcome to Hive!
A couple tips to get your posts more visibility:
If you subscribe to the On Chain Art community (similar to subreddits): https://peakd.com/c/hive-156509/trending next time you're about to make a post you can direct it to that community at the top of the page. If you check the community out you'll notice the general ways of artists sharing their work here by also adding some text about it, etc, which could help you get more votes.
Another thing is that because of the way rewards work here we get a lot of identity thieves pretending to be others for the rewards, it would help curators a lot if you could verify that this account belongs to you through one of your socials. Even though I know this is you since I invited you, the OCA community would tag you as a verified artist and curators would know their votes are going to the right person!

Here's a link to the OCD discord if you ever have more questions about the platform: https://discord.gg/p7dHs3

Edit: after discussing with the user on Reddit there were some misunderstandings and it proved that he wasn't the artist I thought it was but someone sharing their work. Will be downvoting this and he's been made aware that sharing other people's work is frowned upon unless you make it clear it's not yours on Hive.

Oh, whoops. Mind hitting the ones posted in OCA as well.

I doubt very much that she is the real artist. That work belongs to Viktoria Gavrilenko: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rRNoP5
Usually the original artist uses the nick of viccolatte in her networks.

without seeing your comment first, I said pretty well the same thing:

I think a post without any explanation should not even be in the running - and one should also check the "artist" out.
Seems like some trip all over themselves with praise without any research: https://hive.blog/art/@otakshu/reviving-garden

The images are all stolen from Viktoria Gavrilenko

Gorgeous work @otakshu. I'm the Admin of OnChainArt and I'd like to invite you to post in our community. @acidyo has pretty much already said all the advice I'd typically tell you so I'll just say WELCOME!
