Cool street art in Kuressaare

in #art5 years ago (edited)

Besides a medieval castle and some romantic old architecture, the Estonian island town of Kuressaare possesses some abandoned industrial buildings which serve as the canvas for street artists. I didn't miss the chance to take pictures, as this kind of art comes and goes too easily.

Kitties will save the world. Who would doubt this?

That's pretty awesome street art! How's Saaremaa? I'm from Estonia myself and have only been to Naissaar once when it comes to the islands.

This time I chose to stay at Kuressaare and haven't seen the entire island. I recently had surgery and don't feel like driving at a long distance. I can say that nature is everywhere and nature rules.
I love the city, so calm and friendly, with some charming historical buildings and a lot of flowers. And you don't need to go far if you wanna make a getaway to the forest. Next time I will be pleased to visit some of the island's lighthouses and see more places in general.

Here's a view of the city center.
