Hello Steemians!! =D Its me NYCTO im back with a new piece for you all to take a look at. I got a lovely email from a girl called Heidi from over Seas and she really wanted me to create her WOW world of warcraft character that she has had for years.... and so I did. Here is the final product and ill take you over all my steps and all of my references!! :)
Step 1. The references!!
Alright guys, she sent me a few things and its what I had to use to make this happen. She had a very specific idea in mind when it came to her especially with her being so close to her heart XD.
this one is the only other commission she had done of her, the color is really nice!! But.. the face was kinda mangled, over all the artist did an alright job, definitely a really important reference!
and here are all the photo ref she shared to me as well.
and then I did a little more research and found these two images quite helpful..
LETS START DRAWING!!
Step 2. Concept art!
Alright with this step I always just start going at it... and here it is! its always so rough when I first start.
Step 3. Blue line art!
This is a really important step, gotta keep on working the lines and making sure everything is in place in order for my line art to come out just right...
Step 4. Line art!!!
After all the blue lines are ready... its time to make a cleannnn line... and here it is!
Step 5. Flat colors!
Choosing colors for this one was a literal no brainer since I had a very specific color scheme to go with.
Step 6. START PAINTING!
Its always really important to immediately block in your highlights and shadows, it will make it that much easier to find the in-between spots later.
Step 7. More... painting
I sometimes change the background for a fresh new look on whatever im doing, depending on the lightness or the darkness your eyes can pick out different things, so just keep at it! I really starting blocking in more colors and tones in this step.
Step 8. Getting close...
This is the final step before the end, I really tanked this piece in a day or two so I didn't save a crazy amount of steps. Especially since it was pretty straightforward! =D she is looking really finished now... but just wait till the end ;)
FINAL!!!
Here it is guys!! =D I really hope you enjoyed this process.... my client was ECSTATIC about this piece, I made her dreams come true, it made it that much more worth doing it ^_^
DONT FORGET THE MAGICCC
ALRIGHT GUYS! Again my name is Nycto and thank you sooo much for stopping by, be sure to give me a follow if you haven't already and ill see you next time with more art ;)

wow thank you so muchhh!!!! =D
This kind of character is not my world but the outcome is amazing! You're really talented. I'm just learning to draw, making the first steps as they say. The step by step photos are really helpful and not only for me, a lot of people are glad to see how these great works are made.
I'd like to know more about what you used to make this magic happen. Can you tell me more without revealing too many secrets? :)
thank you so much @erikah =D I did all of this on photoshop actually with my wacom cinitq. Im so glad you enjoyed my post and my process!! =D

Hi Nycto!
How long have you been painting?
You painted that I guess less than an hour right?
You're a good artist indeed!
How much the client paid you?
hey @ronel =D Ive been drawing for quite a while... digitally I think im coming around to 4 years now? and noooo this took me probably 8 hours hours haha im not that godly yet ^_^
Oh!
I guess we're all godly but not God precisely.
I thought you're a male lol
Now I see your profile very clearly.
So sorry. Or maybe its not your true photo?
I guess I'm wrong.
My mind now is turning and turning! lol
Wow, amazing dear. You are a great artist.
thanks @anilkumar125469 I appreciate that! and... im a dude btw haha ^_^
I wish I would have such a six pack abs 😀✌️... but I’m very far away, because of eating to much 😆. Great cartoon painting, I like to see the step by step process of the full development of the awesome girl 👍
@avizor thanks man!! And yea me too hahah, Im glad you liked the process and the girl!
Good Art Like It
Hope You Have Great Success
Enjoy Steeming😀
Thank you @vinsforyou =D I will keep up the hard work!
Thanks for sharing your art and the process! Of all the steps listed the most amazing probably was light and shadows. I wanted to ask you how did you learn to do it? Is it purely because of looking deeply and noticing what you see or is there more to it?
oh yes its all observation and just learning with every piece that I do. Have to learn and understand how light effects things, especially color and skin and fabric, ive been self teaching myself for about 3 years now and here I am ^_^
I love this, its amazing... No wonder she was ecstatic after receiving it...
thank you very much @audreybits =D haha
Unbelivable....you have put life to an imagined character. Howcquickly and beautifully you made this...i see it as pure magic...great work.. @nyctoinc

It was a smart decision to change the background color. The original tone had become too opaque and reduced the light to the drawing.
I took the liberty of reviewing some of your other work and for now there is not much more to say; you know very well what you do and this is a very well done piece!
thank you very much for the kind words @nelsinho ^_^ and yea I got a pretty good idea what I do lol, thanks for stopping by!
That's fuckin Rad!
Your artwork is dope. I'm following you now! Keep em coming please.
Hey @nyctoinc thank you for sharing your art, and the story behind. It is nice to know why you created the character and how the final result was developed. I love the idea, of female warrior, was always fascinated with Lara Croft. Your character has everything feminine features, wonderful hair, trained body and I love the tattoos. I am glad your client was hapy with the result, you really deserved it,
Cheers from art-supporting blog @art-venture
Nycto you're a splendid artist, I mean I've seen people creatively try to create world of warcraft character and basically failed vividly, but I see you made your research and you knew exactly what you had in mind and exactly I expected quite less but you did even more, I love the pinkish hair and the tattoo marks on the body, this is totally splendid, the GIF that showed the process is just mind-blowing, well done
Hey @nyctoinc, I love this drawing of yours. Thank you for sharing your steps by steps drawing with explanation. I especially like the animation. The animation shown your drawing process in one glance. This lady figure you have drawn it nicely. You know what, i like the line art part. It so pretty even without coloring it. If i were you, I would made a copy as collection before color it :p I love how you shade the figure from flat colors into the final product with shadow, light etc. It really amazing, you got talent.

She looks really tough @nyctoinc. Very nice 6 packs :) A beautiful piece of artwork and I think you matched her requirements very well based on the references she sent you and she looks like a Lady Heithaeowyn alright :). Thank you for sharing your process with us. The gif is cool :)
@nyctoinc Incredibly fascinating your art. You added every detail of the photos to the character you created. His fitness body with great work of legs and abdomen is incredible. The hair color is beautiful with the cute braid. The model of the crossed sandals with straps up to half leg is elegant and very sensual. The bandage on the hands was great because it matched the straps on the feet. Your result is perfect. Congratulations. Great greetings.
