RE: Fun On-line Art Programs to use

in #art7 years ago

Deepdream is very exciting, it is amazing how the styles transform the original image. It is very different than just applying an paint effect in Photoshop, it feels like the objects of the image are recognized and mutated into something else as appropriate. I wish there was more control over the settings to be able to more finely tweak the results.

Weavesilk is great, like you said, just for the fun of it!.

Nice pics you posted, too, especially the 4th one (portrait) looks like a big but gentle ogre straight out of a fairy tale! :)

thank you - I only now caught up to the comment!
If you play around with Deepdream, you can gain some kind of control, such as uploading your own pattern and applying it, as well as the intensity of the application, and layering. Here is my Generator page, where I opened some of the possible selections:
deepdreamstylesmystyle.JPG
for some reason the image is not displayed full size - right-click it and select open in new tab, it will show larger.
If you are signed up to deepdream, check it out: https://deepdreamgenerator.com/generator
open up Settings and play around with it, using various images, adjusting intensities etc.

Have done that already and tried many pictures and styles with amazing results. It is now a daily game, as I go through my picture libraries to find those that will make the best dreams. Thanks for linking that site!
