I adjusted the curves of the hue & saturation levels on the background. This is a personal preference, but I toned down the greens and yellows and added more cyan/blue tones to the leaves. After placing the tiger image, lower its opacity to make it easier for positioning.
Tip: Always keep in mind that we want a “the-tiger-is-hiding” look, so find a position where leaves can cover it. Erase the tiger’s background with a soft brush (B), and always use a layer mask! You never want to do something you can’t take back in Photoshop.
