Today I would like to share my first Modern Calligraphy Workshop to all of you!

There is many kinds of calligraphy, each of the calligraphy is a visual art related to writing.
And today, I would like to share one of the calligraphy - the pointed pen.

書法有很多種，每一種書法都是一種寫作與視覺藝術之間的混合。
而今天，我想分享我的一個書法 - 尖筆。

1 Oblique pen holder 筆桿
1 Nib 筆尖
1 Glass vial (for the nib) 玻璃小瓶（用於筆尖）
1 Pot of black ink 黑色墨水
1 Pot of gold ink 金色墨水
Alphabet guide 字母指南
Lined guide sheet 指導紙
Practice sheets 練習紙
( Alcohol and clean water is needed for washing nib. ) （清洗筆尖需要酒精和乾淨的水）

🌷 Let's start the lesson 🌷我們開始上課吧

This is our tutor, Miss Jo, she is a master of calligraphy. For the beginning class, we will learn how to hold a pointed pen properly and to control the flow of ink to create thick and thin lines.
Then we will go over the alphabet (focusing on the lowercase) and discuss some basic principles of connecting letters to form words that look pleasing and harmonious.

這是我們的導師Miss Jo，她精通書法，已經開班教學多年。 對於初學階段，我們將學習如何正確地拿著一個尖筆，並且控制墨水的流動來創建粗／幼線條。
我們亦會逐一學習字母表（以小寫為準），並討論連接字母的一些基本原則，以形成令人感覺和諧的詞語。

We learnt the basic skills - to write upstroke and downstroke of different alphabet with correct pressure and weight.

我們學習了基本的技能 - 用正確的壓力和重量來寫上不同字母的upstroke和downstroke。

Miss Jo also taught us the proportion of mixing our own ink, e.g. watercolors, gold powder, pearl acrylic ...

Miss Jo 還教我們按比例混合自己的墨水，例如 水彩，金粉，珍珠丙烯酸。。。

We did also learnt about some decoration line for writing calligraphy, which gives your writing more fun and vivid!
Miss Jo suggested some reference books to us! The books write various kind of calligraphy and diversification change of forms.

我們也學到了一些書寫書法的裝飾線，讓您的寫作更加有趣和生動！
Miss Jo 向我們推薦了一些參考書！ 這些書寫了各種書法和形式的多樣化。

This is the writing from me at the end of the lesson. ( I know it looks not perfect, but the gold writing looks really pretty!)

💪🏻Practice makes perfect 💪🏻 孰能生巧

It takes 1-2 months for a beginner to learn and remember all alphabets. You may play with form and styles , you may find new templates online. The only way to write good calligraphy is practice! Hope that I can write better words later, update you guys next month! 😘
