This is so beautiful. I love the purple - like a nightly sky illuminated by city lights and stars or short before the sun will rise. But how can you sew so fast and neat??? This is amazing, I would have needed a month to do all these tiles.
This will be such a great gift and I am curious how you proceed.

:) Thanks! Yes, I use a rotary cutter and a straight edge. Just using scissors would take longer and not be as straight. I put my machine on the fastest sewing speed and put the pedal to the metal! :)
