Different artists have different ways to approach their painting.
I like to do it as nature does.
First it is a barren land with only the sky above and the water around.
Then come the trees & grass.
Greenery, bringing abundance.
And then the greenery turns a shade yellow.
Autumn tip toes as summer kisses goodbye.
Finally autumn arrives.
Autumn scent fills the air. Golden trees sway in the playful winds.
Gold & brown leaves adorn the slopes and float on the still waters that run deep.

For me is the same, I've tried to pubblish on a regular basis but found it very hard but it's spring, so now things are starting to calm down a bit! Cool I guess it's a great place to have your training done :D

You showed few seasons while you were developing your painting, that is a great skill to turn your artwork in any direction just depending on your mood. I love the moment when everything was juicy green, may be because we have spring just now. But I love your final result to especially some fallen leaves floating on water surface :)
I do like the flexibility of the oil medium.
And as an artist, you know different stages are the underpaint layers, before the final picture emerges . :)
