Forest dweller

in #art3 years ago

This work is done in a mixed technique. Pastels and watercolors. First I drew a deer, and then I added a watercolor environment.

Deer are one of my favorite animal species since childhood. About last year, I learned that deer change their antlers every spring. I was told so by the girl who takes care of them at the zoo. So I don't have 100% confidence)) To be honest, I thought about the fact that there is a business selling products made of deer antlers. And I was wondering at what cost this is happening.

I'm also fascinated by the way the deer jump. Recently I watched a video, and there was a herd of deer running through. I think some individuals jumped 3-4 meters long.

Love deers and your painting!

Thanks 🌼

Wow 😮 es hermoso.

Gracias 🧡

Saludos!

It is very cute, in a recent documentary I also heard that the antlers grow and fall off every year according to the reproductive cycles, and also that there is a difference between antlers and horns, since, the horns do not fall off, it keeps growing during the life of the animal, but it is definitely a question that generates curiosity and your painting on the other hand, is very beautiful, it transmits tenderness. Greetings!
