Part-1 - Visual Art Festival Theme "Go Green & Sustainability in Mumbai city at Kala Ghoda Festival
Kala (Black) Ghoda(Horse) a multicultural festival is held every year in Mumbai city for a duration of around 10 days. Every year there is a theme focusing on the environment...
This year the theme has been "Go Green & Sustainability" and the next steps to Sustainability. The five elements of nature & the same connected with our human body, the depleting Green and the emergency to work towards it all have been represented very well in various art forms. Also this time the festival has been given a special name Hara (Green) Ghoda (Horse) emphasizing on the need to balance between the digital and the real world.
Diverse Life forms exist in perfect harmony in the nature, we humans are just a tiny aspect of the nature, we must respect the important role nature plays in our lives and conserve it.
This picture depicts our endless desires and dreams of having dream houses on top of each other, better than each other, fighting for an inch of space.
This picture depicts the simple yet complex Mother Earth, how we have moved from the Green Earth to the Metallic Earth
This art work is installed keeping in mind the theme of the festival, how we wish to transform the concrete unsustainable terrains again back to green landscapes
A Horse representing our natural resources confined inside a globe saying it's time for action.
We want to leave a footprint behind as a guiding path for the forthcoming generations
A colorful blend of flowers
The Two shades of the same color, The Landscape Green and The Military Green. One is natural and the other man made, one brings beauty, other brings war
The Pillars of Unity, where visitors leave a mark of their journey.
This is what we want
And they are so cute, this festival is for everyone, the young, the old, children and everyone.
I am sure you all enjoyed these wonderful Visual Arts of the Kala Ghoda Festival.

Yes people in other countries still think that India is a country where elephants and horses are still a mode of our transport. We need to let the world know our talent and abilities. Thank you @momi5 for promoting my post
