My first attempt at a subtle brand change! (Digital Art) | New STEEM User

About Me!

I am an 18 year old British kid who loves digital art and video games, out of all the many styles i have to say i prefer the #outrun theme for art! (although i love it all)

I wish to create a page on #STEEMIT to help motivate me to create and post digital art as often as i can. My thinking is that there is only one way to get better at something, and that is to practice. So therefore if a site like this can help motivate me then its a win win situation!

The Art!

This time around rather than creating an #outrun or #retro style image i thought i would go for a more subtle brand name and image / logo change! This particular image has hints and links towards the #vaporwave theme.

(The resolution / size is 800 x 800 pixels and the colour format is in RGB)

In future i would like to include a short video/gif or even set of still images to show the process of creating the final product. So stay tuned for that!

My Inspiration behind the image

Normally with these blog / channel / feed posts I explain how a recent piece of music has infulenced my art however this time around it was a simple brand name and logo along with browsing /r/vaporwave on #reddit that gave me inspiration.
I wanted to create an image in the theme of vaporwave as well as keeping it clean looking and subtle as i was worried the overbearing colours and weird #aesthetics might put some fellow #steem users off.

I first decided i wanted to try and recreate the #addidas brand logo in my own way and with my own twist. I'm sure you all know what this brand looks like but here is a picture just in case you don't!

Secondly, after browing /r/vaporwave on #reddit and various different vapourwave pages on #instagram i fell in love with the oriental and east - asian style that "Arizona Ice Tea" had used in their designs. Here is an example of thier products!

The rest is obvious, i simply used the "Arizona Ice Tea cans as the black bars / stripes and changes the name to incorporate more of the #vaporwave and #sadboy theme!
