My painting is titled, SPHERULE on canvas, 16 x 20"
How I came about the title was a combination of SPHERE & RULER, but dropped the R on the end of ruler.
I know, Spheres are normally three dimensional, and my spheres may not seem like that to you, but they have movement and are alive and going in and out of form. hehe
Acrylics: I used black, purple and titanium white and of course coated, the canvas in titanium white
Tools: construction spatula ...used for applying and smoothing various construction mixtures and building mortars. However, I used this particular spatula to create the circles by finding the center then making a firm 180 movement, and that was after dipping the edge in paint.
Prior to that, I made ruler shapes down the canvas in black and grey with a smidgen of purple to give it a bit of a lift and contrasts.
