Hello steemain
Is me @missplendor. For one week now i have been busy working on my holiday project.
These are the outlines.
- Graphics design/Comic.
- Texture
- Tonal gradiation
- Shapes/Form
- Textile application
- Wrist exercise sketch
I will give a detailed explanation and illustration on this outlined topics.
Graphic design: is the art with a purpose, it involves a creative and systematic plan to achieve objectives with the use of images, symbols or even words. It is visual communication and the aesthetic expression of concepts and ideas using various graphics elements like, line, shape, texture and colour.
Below is a picture of a comic font graphics assignment I did last week.

Texture: it is the smoothness, roughness, softness of an object or a thing, it is gotten by placing a paper on the surface of an object with texture and shade the paper surface with a pencil. These practice reflects the texture on the object on the paper. Different types of textures can be gotten when placed on different surfaces, that is how I got my texture showed below.

Tonal gradiation: it is a step by step movement of values from light to dark. It shows the degree of lightness and darkness of an area.

Shape/Form: shape is a flat, enclosed area of an artwork created through lines, it is a flat endosed area of an artwork, it is a geometric figure such as square. Triangle or rectangle. It is in 2 dimensionality . While
Form is a shape in 3 dimensionality that is a shape in its roundness. it doesn't have a flat surface, all part can be seen.

Textile: is a material that consist of natural artificial fibres like yarn and flax, linen, synthetics.
Textile can be applied in industries , fashion and design, house decoration, bag making, shoe making and curtains etc.Wrist exercise sketch: it is an artistic exercise that is done to free and make the hand flexible to get an accurate line while drawing. These exercise is done by holding a pencil with the tip of your two fingers places on the drawing sheet or paper to maintain a steady movement.

Am glad to share my projects and research with my friends here in steemite and I hope u will learn from it.
