About Me: I'm Terry; I'm originally from Virginia but currently live in Md. I've drawn ever since I could remember, but it's mostly been just a casual hobby. I started drawing more seriously after my Grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. I spent the time during her treatments to relax with art. Recently, I have been drawn to digital art using my iPad and Surface Pro. I also produce pencil and pastel art on traditional canvases. I currently focus mainly on landscapes and architecture. I joined Fine Art America on September 25th, 2017 and many of my drawings can be found there.

This drawing is of my favorite guitar player, Stevie Ray Vaughan. I drew it on an iPad using the program, Procreate. This was my first attempt at trying some realism.
Stevie was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and started playing guitar at the age of 7, following in the footsteps of his older brother Jimmie Vaughan. Stevie later dropped out of high school, moved to Austin and started performing in local gigs. He later formed a group with a Double Trouble and performed worldwide. The group won numerous awards. Unfortunately, Stevie lost his life in a helicopter crash on August 27, 1990. (Source: Wikipedia) My favorite SRV songs are ”Lenny“, “Tin Pan Alley” and ”Life Without You”.
