New oil painting from the studio! Original art by @mayasky 🎨

Hi Everyone!

I hope you're all having a good weekend! 😊

I've had some good creative days and the other day I finished a new painting of one of my favorite birds, the Blackbird.

The finished painting measures 20 x 30 cm, and here it is;

The inspiration for this painting were all the Blackbirds that have returned to Norway recently for Spring 😊 Every evening I've been hearing them singing from the tree tops and it's such a beautiful sound. 💖

The painting took me around 7 hours and the colors I used were;

• Ivory Black
• Raw Umber
• French Ultramarine Blue
• Turquoise Clear
• Permanent Rose
• Vermilion
• Golden Ocher
• Windsor Yellow
• Titanium White

All the other color mixes were made from these 9 colors.
