I've been focusing on bringing original, interactive games and projects based on my paintings here on steemit, but for now, I'd like to present just a painting.

This painting isn't related to any series or contest of mine, and for the moment I don't want to sell it for SBD, steem or fiat or anything. Just curious to see and read your reactions! After this posts payout, I may be sharing a bit on my views on this painting, but first, I'd really like to hear yours :)

Have you ever read the ghost tale "Come and whistle my lad" by M.R. James, it made me think of it, the ghost following the main character back to his hotel room from the ruins he found the whistle.
It´s eerie, ghostly, and there is something dreamy, warped like a false awakening. I made a music album called The Underliving some years ago, it is also an illustrated project not only music, and it features things that ARE NOT LIVING BUT ARE ALIVE... like when you see a shadow and shape it, or when you listen to the wind and find words... it sort of evoke that Underliving realm to me. It would lose with more detail, the thing is you must to make them out in your mind, it makes it ominous mostly.
Hey, yes, I have read that story! M.R. James may not be a direct influence on my work, but apparently his work simmers through in mine :) Thanks for that, great you noticed that!
The Underliving sounds like a fascinating project, there's so much out there we don't know about. Do you have anything online to check out?

Another epic painting :) Love how you draw the eye to the structure in the top right, feels like a building sneaking out of the mist.. maybe its not but that is part of the mistery :-D

yeah it's funny, that "structure" up there is also my main point of attention for some reason...
I see a lady wrapped up against the weather with her dog tucked under her arm. It looks very wet out there.
weirdly enough... this is my eyes' focu point in this one:
as usual with your artwork, it's the structure of the paint that captures my fancy.
the homunculus in this one doesn't really speak directly to me in this one, it's more like it's observing something "with" me rather than being observed "by" me...
I dunno man... all I know it's awesome sauce and amaze balls!

And your second observation I think is really to the point: observing something together really 'feels' spot on! I can't put it to words very well either, so I guess that's why I painted it :P

You know i love so much your paintings! Every time i see one of them I feel myself as a little observer of something that reminds me some emotions! About this painting the first word that it reminds me is "waiting". I see the time of waiting there. Waiting something that can be nice or bad, but the important is just the time of waiting. Beautiful as usual!
Thank you very much, Silvia! Yeah, the emotion of 'waiting' can definately be seen in there, although I had no intention of putting it in :) But that's art, it's what the spectator finds in it, so I'm glad you got something out of it :D
Looking back on the painting now, yeah, they could certainly be waiting for something :D
Love the spooky vestigial head. Like one of those vestigial twins that gets almost but not completely absorbed during development. Paired with the open frame of a half finished tower in a smoggy industrial wasteland. Spooky.
Just read your comment :-D I wrote mine about the same time just hadn't sent it yet, distracted by the whaleshares live chat. Curious to know if we are seeing things in the mist or indeed that is a building :D
