I got the idea to create this hallicunating image last night, when I was trying to draw while being sick.
I kicked it off with a colorful image with many lines.
I photographed the portrait and turned it to Black n White.
I then used double exposure multiple times with the top image always slightly misplaced from the bottom one.

😀😀😀 crazy? I totally disagree! Only a focused mind can create meaningful paintings. Art is all about concentration, I can tell for sure that such skill as this was borne out of focused mind imagery. I hope to see more.

1st. The eyes are like windows to the soul.... so imagine five eyes looking into a single soul or looking into five souls in one body.... This really brings Multiple Personality Disorder into art... the different eyes representing a different personality... representing a different temperament... BEAUTIFUL....

I'm curious, what were your thoughts when painting the eyes? Obviously the third eye is representative to greater awareness, but I'm curious as to what your attentions were with the second pair of eyes beyond an aesthetic choice (if there was one of course!)

Well, the artwork is about confused senses and the multiples eyes represent the perception of outer world through our various "sensors". At the time I did this I wasn't suffering from hallucunations but I've experienced this twice in the past and to me it was a very frightening experience.

It's surprisingly when inspiration can strike you (as well as illness)! As far as capturing that feeling of feeling disoriented and hallucinating I think you're right on the money :)

And it is fun and creative to try to achieve an idea conceived in your mind and touch peoples' hearts and minds. Very bold of you to try to achieve this effect and you really succeeded. Bravo!
