Loving the way of how tropical colors depicted in this portrait with watercolor, colouring pencil and oil pastel on watercolor paper.
Here is the mixed demo with watercolor, colouring pencil and oil pastel
STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE:
First, make a sketch of portrait.
Next, use oil pastel for the face and neck then rub the applied color with your finger.
After that, use coloring pencils for every details.
Then, use watercolor for its hair.
Use the same color for her shirt's collar.
Afterwards, use these tropical colors to add a brighter color for the portrait.
• Green and lighter green for leaves.
• Red for tropical branches.
• Black and yellow for additional linings and dots.
Lastly, draw a border for it to look it's inside the frame.
Well done!
I like this illustration as the way how the differents coloring material works and with the white background allows the main thing to stand out, the portrait.
