Another drawing from my previous Character Designer job, (I'm pretty sure this one was rejected lol). My boss asked me to redesign one of the characters from one of the mobile game we're working on and this is the redesign I came up with. I'll try to show the drawing process though this is my first time showing one so any tips and criticism are appreciated.
Well of course the first step is the sketch/line art. I use Manga Studio or Medibang when I'm doing the line art.
Next is to add the colors. I usually use photoshop for coloring but this time I tried using Manga Studio for this one.
Then add some shade/shadings. I just pick the darker shade of the colors I used or sometimes I just use gray and black.
Then add the lightings..... and some more shadings. lol (ooooops forgot to remove the cursor on the screenshot lol)
Finally put some details on it.
And done! it's just like enjoying a coloring book once you finished your line art. Well I hope this helps to anyone lol.
