I'm glad your area was spared @jacey.boldart, It must have been terrifying for the people who were not so lucky! I remember how terrified we were during the mudslides of 2022.

@lizelle I was holding my mental breath, waiting to see what would happen.
We rarely have deeply horrible storms here. Sure a few bad storms now and then that cause some very temporary flooding in the low areas and sometimes some trees will go down and maybe a very short time without electrical power. Still, nothing like what some areas experience from time to time and NOTHING like this recent storm (so far). I cannot imagine what some of these people have lived through. Aweful !
Still, it is so heartwarming to see the outpouring of folks from every directly, giving of their time and money to help. The angel people !
