Thank you @nyarlathotep! I randomly came across another artist using diagonal grids for their layout. It clicked and made sense to me. Too my utter surprise and pleasure, it is amazing how often reference material just fits so well.

I sold the original earlier in the year. I'm toying with the idea of a larger version. I do however have prints of it available on RedBubble.
