Beautiful work. It's a pitty that you dont have more photos.
As for art forgery, I remember something about a guy who forged many paintings but he got caught when he didn't clean his brush well enough :P He left traces of modern paint on it. Plus many of the old paints are hard to get by as many are very toxic, like Van Gogh's yellow. :D
If I'm wroung about any of this please correct me, it's just a vague memory :)

lol I wouldn't know about the technical details on what paint to use, I'm sure you're right, because I do know they used a lot of different paints back then that were super-expensive, and are today made really cheaply, less toxic and even stronger colors. :)
