''The Wounded Stoner'' is a parody of the Finnish painter Hugo Simberg's known painting ''The Wounded Angel''. The piece of art was made by manipulating a photo of the original painting via Pixlr Photo Editor.

• The background consists of stock photos of cigarettes, cigarette packages and vodka bottles found on Google images.
• The psychedelic-looking sun is the cover art of the American ska-punk band Sublime's album ''40 Oz. to Freedom'', designed by Opie Ortiz.
• The police hats on the men carrying the angel through the chaotic background originate from the Estonian stencil-artist Edward von Lõngus' work of art ''Kannahabe ja nõiakütt'' (''Cannabeard and witch-hunter'').
• The angel also has a joint in his / her mouth.
  
  

Meaning

''The Wounded Stoner'' represents the long-lasting fight for and against the legalization of cannabis.
The tobacco-and-alcohol mix in the background symbolises the legality of factors more harmful to one's health (+ the health of other people as well), whilst the angel (having used weed for his / her own recreational spirit or to somewhat heal oneself) got busted by the police just because of it's illegality.
