For many decades in succession on the eve of Easter, thousands of Easter cards (pictures) carried congratulations on a Bright Day to those whom people could not congratulate personally. "Happy Easter!" - these words of joy and love people hurried to share with their relatives and friends who were far away on holidays.

The first illustrated cards were black and white, then they began to produce color and photo-cards. Writing anything other than the address on the back of the postcard was prohibited. As a result, the sender involuntarily had to spoil the image. In 1904, there were postcards, on the reverse side of which was allocated a place for writing.
