Just a study - maybe a little sterile. The stick... sorry, staff is inspired by @ocrdu's wand, which you can see on this drawing. I like the ocrdu drawing better, but this will have to do.

Do highlights in her eyes make it less sterile? Just curious (old photographers trick).
I think that what I find sterile about it is its simplicity. Sometimes it is a good thing sometimes it has a bit to little nerve to be interesting. It is OK, now I look at it again.
I don't think it is too simple, but I do think the crop of her head and shoulders at the top of the post works stronger than the whole drawing. My brain doesn't seem to like the amount of space occupied by the featureless black dress. But then, what does my brain know.
I did try a number of other options, background, t-shirt etc. Maybe a supernova in the chest? Didn't try that one.

Some people simply have this creativeness and others not. I didnt do very well in Art.
I remember my last report from the art teacher only too well..., 'he appears to loathe to create someting that has any worth or value'. I was reproducing rock band logos at the time, Kiss rings a bell.
