As I paint them staring back...

Art is all about progression and so is life. You start small and try over and over to get it right, once you do, it's HUGE!

I'm sharing the progression photo's of two of my latest paintings. I hope you enjoy.

Yes, I have "Create" tattooed in my right hand.

My art can take up my whole house at times. I need a studio.

My boy Apollo, he always hangs with me while I paint.

I think 99% of the time people think I have dirty nails...its paint.

I really enjoyed your post. Great paintings. Will be sharing this!

PS: you would offer these on the Steemit Market when it launches (has it launched?)

I will definitely be putting some art out for sale on it yes. Pretty sure it hasn't launched yet. :)

That's bad ass, I've been waiting to find an artist that I truly enjoy. Awesome work.

Really!? Wow that makes me feel so good. thanks!

@will-zewe you couldn't of said it better!
Really awesome work @katecloud

Why thank you.

Holy cow this is amazing! Your paintings are wonderful.

why thank you ;)

Your work and passion are absolutely amazing, inspiring, and contagious, @katecloud. :) Upvoted like a boss!

That is amazing, love your work and the amount of detail you put in it! I started drawing a year ago, and seeing stuff like this gets me very motivated to learn more and maybe experience different mediums. I use markers and color pencils, but I want to try out watercolor and other paints as well. Can't wait to see more of your work :) Followed and upvoted :D

Thank you for foloowing! Stick with it! Its rewarding in so many ways.

Your art is just so fucking nice <3 grats.

That is super amazing! I think the dog is scared of the elephant. LOL

I wish I knew what he was thinking. LOL, he probably thinks I'm nuts...

Would you mind checking out my latest post; I would like your opinion.

Beautiful work @katecloud. I love the scale of your pieces, and what wonderful subjects!

Thank you, I'm a huge animal lover. They end up in the mix quite a bit.

Wow, you have to have real vision to paint that big. Amazing :)

Очень красиво!!!!

I wish I knew what this said... but thank you for commenting . Giggle

If I could draw one thing well, it would be fur and hair, I love the way you do this; quietly envious! :-)

Cg

Don't be envious, I'm sure you have a talent too...everyone does. :)
-Cheers

Amazing. The "staring back" concept is brilliant. I imagine how I would feel to be stared at from a lion. A moment between fear and excitement. The attention your picture create is speechless.

Being stared at by a lion would definitely be "moving" ;P Thank you for your comment!
-Cheers!

Really nice pictures :) and pretty author :)

and very fun dog

blushing too kind

As I see the pattern of the fur on the head of the tiger, I'm thinking to myself how is it that you can envision this before drawing it... I wouldn't even be thinking about those patterns (granted I'm no artist - so...). Do you have a photograph that you base this upon?

Trust me I had to start over a few times by painting over, especially on the right side...trying to decide where the other eye might show or the nose wrinkles. I did look at pictures of lions to help yes! Picture's can be VERY helpful!

That makes sense... thanks!

Very nice.. The elephant really compliments the black sofa.. All planned eh? I do numbers and play poker all day, so whenever I get to check out visuals, like graphic/classic art... I'm always like Woah nice, my pupils dilate like hell, and I go Yeaaa boy.

Yes, the elephant was a commissioned piece I did for a man. :) Very planned.

Your paintings are very nice

Thanks @moviefan, I quite enjoy doing them.

Your art makes my heart happy. What a gift you have!

OH, I love hearing that! it makes all the hours so worth while, to know it's being enjoyed!
xo

Wow your work is amazing! I love the way you compose and crop like a photographer in many ways. It's quite unusual in paintings. Do you have a Youtube channel?

Anyway thanks for posting these.

lol, funny you say that. I majored in art and minored in photography...I suppose that's probably why. I don't have a Youtube just yet...but I do have a website. www.littlebitsandbigdeals.com
Thanks for checking out my post!

Замечательные работы.

Мне тоже понравилось, хотя для девушки, тема очень необычна.... мне так кажется...

I like your creativity, unusual ...

Awesome art. I just bought my first huge canvases. I can't wait to make some big pieces but I am honestly pretty intimidated to start because I am afraid to mess it up.

Do your first one in acrylic, That way if you don't like it you can just paint over it and start over. Don't over think it just dive in!! The big ones are the funnest *wink *wink

I have done one thats like 16 x 24 but I got something bigger like 24 x 36

Thanks for the tip. :)

👍wow amazing post, really cool @katecloud

good lord you are a talented painter

Lol, I try...

Where can I bye your art? ^_^

Then is greeat!
