Hello there,
Here comes a new page from my original comic Shades Of Men!
Since it's been a while let's recap the previous updates. Lev and Ricky came to this abandoned slaughter house to bring David back home but he refused. David's new friends formed a crowd that took over Lev and beat him up. Ricky luckily escaped to a side room containing cages but was soon to be exposed.
That's where we left off. For more incredible adventures, check out the story from the start. You'll get to know these characters a little more in the mean time.
Now let's get back into the fray...
Woo Lots going on!
I knew this pet party was gonna take me a while. From line work to colors, it's easy to get lost in the infinite details.
Sometimes I wonder why my brain imagined such a complex scene for the ending of the story.
It turned out pretty close to what I had in mind. Rest assured this is not over. More chaos to come...
While you wait, here is a Steemit exclusive process gif:
Thanks for reading this.
If you're discovering my work, hopefully that spiked your interest.

Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for the comment.
You are very talented! Nice artwork!
That's very nice of you to say. I'll keep at it. Hopefully getting better and better with time. ;-)
This is all very impressive to me.... mostly because i am extremely limited in the art realm. Do you hand draw these or is it done in an electronic way?
Thanks for the positive feedback @gooddream. I like your nickname btw!
I draw all this on a mini Ipad using an app called artstudio. Getting a good stylus really changed everything for me. I have one with the transparent tip called a Jot pro. I explained a bit more in this post https://steemit.com/art/@jrej/creating-comics-my-process.
As for creativity, I like story telling in general. It has always been my thing. I transitioned from short films to comics a few years back. It's nice avoiding budget limitations, crew schedule and locations that are inherent to movie making.
