THIS VIDEO!!!
I really love this video. It's very rare for me to complement my own work. In fact it's weird and strange for any artist to like and compliment their own work. It makes them sound arrogant and conceited. This is something we as a society should change to create a healthier atmosphere for artists to exist in. But that's another post for another time....
This video really portrays a lot of why I play music, why I love playing music and why I love music in general.
It's Fun
This video makes me smile. I can smile at it through all the mistakes I make, through all the missed notes and through all the imperfections I see. That's what I want to do with my music and my playing, make people happy. If I make myself happy that's at least 1 person
It's Over the Top
Almost every video I play I like to go right up to the line of it being to much and just slightly back off. I want to take the viewer to the limit without overwhelming them. I feel like I hit my sweet spot with this video.
It's Passionate
You can feel my love of playing music and drumming when you watch this. That's so important to me. I hate watching performances where I'm not laughing and smiling. Music is the most beautiful thing on earth and should be enjoyed. That's the number one thing I think when watching my own videos, SMILE MORE
It Has Purpose
You can tell with my clothes, with my attitude, with my play style that I'm trying to make this a fun video. I had a lot of fun filming it, practicing it and editing it. It's not always possible for this to be the case, but when it is, man it feels great.
That's all I want to say without getting too wordy. I hope you enjoy my rendition of this classic song. I'm re uploading it because I was still learning Dtube and messed up my last upload. Hope my fellow Steemians can enjoy it!
Thanks for reading
Joel

This is really a high-level performance! Congratulations! Especially I liked the speeding part very much. Maybe using more kick pedals could be great eg. twins. Thank you for this for sharing with us.
I upvoted you. And you have a new follower.
The song and video light up a dreary Sunday
Great cover! I really like the energy. the vibe, the sunglasses, and you got your drum sounds (especially the snare) dialed in really well. It's also nice to find other drummers on this platform. I joined a few weeks ago and I'm excited about meeting other drummers on this platform.
