Louis Etienne Boullee and the idea of revolutionary architecture

After the french revolution from 1789 architects thought about the idea of inspiring people to become perfect through architecture. The idea was to put the Enlightenment in stone.
They thought when the people would look at perfect geometrical gigantic buildings it would inspire them to evolve in morality and dignity.
