Certainly, it's a fascinating chromatic and figurative effect. I have no idea what the technique is. You get very impressive appearances. The purity and density of the blue makes fuchsia stand out, creating that cracked or torn appearance (like tongues of fire) with the black stain that penetrates or deepens it, opening a cavity or space open to infinity. Very good image!
When I read the title, "The Doors", I thought of the rock group -so rebellious, by the way- or it led me to William Blake's expression: "The Doors of Perception". Even if you haven't thought about it, it allows me to establish possible interpretative relationships. Thank you, @velimir.
