Hello everyone! It's been a while since I last posted here in my Steemit account. We lost our internet connection for more than two weeks but I am really glad that it is back.
So.. here's something I have drawn yesterday night, I actually copied a reference of this.. I was really amazed by that video I watched on Facebook about an artist making his drawings 3D.
So here it goes..
I started with a light sketch outline of the Tarantula.. It is not that visible in this photo somehow.
I made a small amount of 8B powder from my graphite pencil and just filled inside the outline with light to dark shades. As you can see, it's more visible than before.
Here, I began to draw the Tarantula with a graphite pencil. I have darkened it as I saw in the reference.
It's nearly finished, just lacking the most important thing with a 3D drawing - shadows! I added shadows using a soft brush and the graphite powder I made.
So here's the result! A Tarantula in our house! Hahaha.

Yeah I tried that with my classmates, it somehow worked haha

The shadows on the last image really makes all the difference.
