Here is a very unique illustration I did for the book. Each section of the tunnel has it's own unique style. You can clearly see the Ancient Egyptian bit on the far right.
Drawing the twisting tunnel from a perspective was very challenging indeed. I had to look at London tube and escalator photos to try and get the perspective right. If you look at the steps, you'll see that they are facing up. The perspective is a bit warped and pretty cool in my opinion.
This is another A2 drawing that took the better part of a week to complete. It's certainly one of a kind...
Hope you enjoyed getting lost in that one. Thanks for coming to check out my art. Take care and stay tuned for the next post :)
Awesome. So talented. Love it
Thanks very much :) Happy to share these with you.
I love the details. Incredible! <3
Thanks :)
Interesting flow to this drawing!
I must have done a lot of pencil erasing before It was good enough to ink. Hard work!
Details are on point, as usual. The imagery is fantastic.
Thanks @vermillionfox, it was actually My mother and her friend who came up with the concept. Colabs are cool :)
Oh, that's great! I always enjoy throwing ideas around with a group. I'm glad it turned out the way it did.
That one was for the Wind in the Arroyo book. Mom's friend Peter was paying me to do the drawings. Sad thing is, they never published the damn book! :(
That's a bummer.
Yeah but I think the story might not be the best. It has cool elements but overall maybe not so great...
